Located in Winnetka this happy family of four relocated to the suburbs after years in the city. The family – the husband is an entrepreneur, and the wife is a fashion designer, has two young kids ages 6 and 10. This creative family gave up a more urban life but did not want to sacrifice style by doing so. KBS Interior Design goal was to create a clean, modern aesthetic and integrated accents with organic shapes to juxtapose many geometric elements of the design. Pattern, texture and color play harmoniously with notes of wrought iron, rough woods, emerald green accents and layers of woven baskets and hides. The designers created an urban vibe for these creatives which included a home office, family room, kitchen, and dining room.
